Welcome to Faith Baptist Church’s Kingdom Kids ministry! Jesus said in Matthew 19:14, “Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” We believe that children are a valuable treasure worthy of our investment, and we understand the significance of reaching children with the Gospel since 85% of people who trust Jesus as Savior do so between the ages of 5 and 14. We want to help parents develop children with a heart for God and a desire to serve others.
On Sunday morning, children are greeted by Sunday School teachers who have diligently prepared lessons tailored for their particular age groups. Then our dynamic Children’s Churchprogram gives children an opportunity to worship in a larger group with games, music, videos, stories, skits, puppets, magic, snacks, and most importantly messages from the Bible.
On Wednesday nights during the school year, our Master Club ministry provides an opportunity for children to learn scripture, play games, build character, and have fun with their peers.
We plan big events just for kids throughout the year. At the Wacky Winter Olympics, children join teams to compete in unique olympic games we design. The Kids’ Fair is our gift to the community, with 30 carnival games, free prizes, free food, face painting, a magic show, community heroes such as Septa’s K9 demonstration, and more. Our annual Vacation Bible School packs the auditorium with children for four nights of games, skits, prizes, magic, Bible Lessons, and crafts. Near the end of the summer, children in 3rd - 6th grade enjoy a week of Junior Camp at Camp Calvary in Bernville, PA. We take over a local bowling alley for our Kids’ Bowling activity, which features 2 hours of bowling and pizza. For our Children’s Christmas Party, we take buses to local nursing homes, which gives children an opportunity to minister by telling the Christmas story, singing Christmas carols, and giving a craft to the residents. Then we return to the church for food, games, crafts, and a special Christmas story.
Our children’s ministry philosophy dictates continuous improvement. Therefore, we invest significantly in resources and training to equip our staff and volunteers with the very best material available. We would be glad to take you on a tour of our visual aid room and our game room to show you some of the ways we are investing in children.
In keeping with our view that children are a valuable treasure, we do everything within our power to protect these valuable treasures to whom we minister (Matthew 18:1-7). Therefore we perform background checks for any potential children’s ministry workers, and we diligently enforce our child protection policy.
